He has held senior technical and managerial roles with leading companies, including Marathon, Shell, and Woodside, as well as smaller firms, contributing to significant oil and gas discoveries across regions like Australia, Southeast Asia, North Africa, and the Gulf of Mexico.

In 2011, Morrison founded KRX Energy, an exploration company that was successfully merged with ASX-listed Lion Energy in 2014. His educational background includes an Honours degree in Geology and Geophysics from The University of Sydney and a Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from The Securities Institute of Australia.

He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia, and SEAPEX. Known for his hands-on technical expertise and strategic approach to exploration, Morrison continues to drive success for Avenir Energy Group.

Pasuk's strategic expertise is in all kinds of drilling project management, from greenfield exploration and development to brownfield optimization in both onshore and offshore oil and gas upstream operations, with more than 30 years of drilling and workover experiences from rig contractor roustabout to oil and gas operator senior management.

He started with the Pool International workover rig in Saudi Arabia in 1976. In 1979, he left the rig for a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University (Class of 1984). Since 1984, his track record of drilling project management skills has begun as the rig site Drilling Supervisor and ended up as Drilling Superintendent in 2002 for Unocal Thailand. After that, he became an independent drilling advisor for Chevron Thailand, PTTEP Myanmar, Elite Drilling Services, PTTEP Australia, Coastal Energy Malaysia, PTTEP Thailand, and KrisEnergy Cambodia. He is currently a part-time Drilling Consultant for Avenir.

Chris specializes in integrating well log data, core analysis, and advanced formation evaluation techniques to optimize reservoir characterization and hydrocarbon recovery.
